If wish there were more books of this quality available on the market. It’s not about the cover, it’s about the content. My 8 y.o. daughter loves reading books of Astrid Lindgren, including this one. It’s adventurous and very funny.

She literally keeps reciting stories for me. I highly recommend this book for any kid age 5 and up/5(87). Today, she is most remembered for writing the Pippi Longstocking books, as well as the Karlsson-on-the-Roof book series.
